Report a faulty or damaged charge point

Paying by card on the Energy Park app
To pay on our app, download the Energy Park app from the App Store or Google Play, or visit energypark.app and follow the link.
Once it's downloaded, upload your card details.
Before you start charging, we'll pre-authorise a payment of £45, which is the maximum permitted amount for a charging session. Once your charging session has ended, we'll retain the cost of the charging session and refund you the difference.
We accept all major debit and credit cards except Amex. Apple Pay and Google Pay are not currently available.
Paying at a contactless payment terminal
To pay at a contactless terminal, first plug your charging cable into your vehicle and the charge point, and take a note of the charge point ID. This can be found on the front of the charge point.
Next, select the charge point on the contactless terminal, accept the terms and tap your card to start charging.
To stop your charging session, end the session in your vehicle and unplug the cable. If you need a receipt, please revisit the contactless terminal and scan the QR code.
We accept all major debit and credit cards, including Amex, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Our charging tariffs
If the charge point is publicly available, you can view the tariff per kWh by locating the charge point in the Energy Park app. You can download the app from the App Store or Google Play, or by visiting energypark.app and following the link.
If the charge point is not publicly available, you can view the tariff per kWh in the Energy Park app by locating the charge point using its ID or scanning the QR code. These can be found on the front of the charge point.
If you're planning to visit one of our locations and you'd like to know the tariff before your arrive, please call our customer services team on 0333 090 7275 and we can tell you the ID number.
Starting and stopping your charging session
If you're paying on the Energy Park app, you can start and stop your charging session in the app. To select the correct charge point, enter the charge point ID or scan the QR code. These can be found on the front of the charge point.
If you're paying at a contactles payment terminal, the charging session can be started at the terminal once your cable is plugged in. To stop your charging session, end the session in your vehicle and unplug the cable. If you need a receipt, please revisit the contactless terminal and scan the QR code.
Releasing a stuck cable
If your cable is stuck, make sure you've ended the charging session in the app and in your vehicle. You may also be able to release it by pressing the unlock button on your keys.
If you still can't release it, please call our customer services team on 0333 090 7275 and we'll release it for you.
